The Real Cost of Bad Health

We all want more don't we?

How many of us actually commit to the blood, sweat, and tears to get more. Sadly most of humanity settles.

For jobs they don't want.

Relationships that bring them down.

Habits that are robbing them of their vitality.

It's so sad. Most people go to their graves without ever really experiencing their full potential. I don't mean that in some weird new-agey way. I mean that sincerely.

Full confession: I was coasting along a few years ago, not really passionate about anything. I had a good life, but I have to admit there wasn't much that got me excited. I was married to a great guy, we had all the trappings of success, but really there wasn't anything that got me fired up. And most people would say that's okay.

It was only after my husband passed away suddenly from a heart attack that I found my true calling. I discovered that I really want to help people get healthy and live their lives on purpose.

Why? Because the person I loved more than anything in the world didn't get to do that. It took an incredibly negative, life-altering experience for me to choose to step into something bigger in my life.

It wasn't too late for me and it's not too late for you!

What if you started to think about it differently? By not changing your unhelpful, unhealthy habits, what is it literally costing you?

Is your relationship suffering because you're not happy?

Is your health in a downward spiral because you're self medicating with food or alcohol?

Is your performance at work suffering because of your habits?

Anyone, anywhere, at any time, can choose to create a whole new life. You can start with making small shifts. Soon those small shifts will start to steam roll into bigger shifts. And before you know you'll be living a whole new life!

Here are three ways you can start:

1. Decide what you actually want in your life. Take out a journal and do some freestyle writing on the following questions... What kind of relationships do you want in your life? How do you want to feel in your body? If money or time weren't an issue, what would you want to do?

2. Start to make small changes in your mindset, your daily nutrition habits, and how you structure your day. For example, you can start getting up 10 minutes earlier every day to meditate. If overhauling your nutrition feels too huge, simply start eating more vegetables and fruits. Pick an affirmation that motivates you, write it out on a sticky note and place it somewhere you can see it daily.

3. Commit to a timeline. Most people quit before they even start! That's why they get nowhere. Commit to at least 30 days of your new health and lifestyle habits. See how you feel in 30 days. When you see results in 30 days you'll be motivated to make more changes. It'll snowball into more.

If you're really looking for support and accountability then definitely reach out to me. It's literally what I do and I love helping people create better health and happier lives!
